Tech vs. Arts: Free Outdoor Dance & Music Performance | SF

Jess Curtis/Gravity presents a free site-specific outdoor performance as part of The Dance That Documents Itself, a dance-based performance exploring the impacts of tech on artists, art-making, and art spaces in San Francisco.

There will be performance. There will be music. There will be dancing, There will be projections on a building that once housed one of the Bay Area’s most radical performance spaces.

The Dance That Documents Itself is a dance-based multi-media performance exploring the impact of the digital on the embodied life of artists, both in terms of how new tools of communication allow us to capture/share/expand our work and in terms of how the tech sector has changed the economic landscape artists and art spaces in SF. The world premiere will be at CounterPulse December 4th-14th with shows Thursday-Sunday at 8:30 pm.
