Don’t miss the kickoff event for The 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love. On Saturday, April 29th, they will be closing down four blocks of Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley from Bancroft Way to Dwight Way.
Come celebrate with a free concert of 60s cover bands, yummy food, art, 100% handmade crafts, political action and a kid’s activities corner. Show up dressed in your best hippie fashion to dance in the street like it’s 1967.
There will be a free historical tour every hour, so you can learn more about the history of the Summer of Love. Hope to see you there enjoying the far-out 60’s vibe.
