If you’ve lived, you’ve got a story; and it wants to be heard. Whether it’s about your first steps, your first love or your first vibrator, we want to hear it. Tell it at the Ten Fingers live storytelling event. Get it out. Get closure. Get applause. Get $150.
The best story wins $150 in pure cash money and the chance to be featured on the new NPR storytelling show, Snap Judgment. Talk about anything. There’s only two rules: keep it under 10 minutes, and keep it real. The judges prefer nonfiction. Runners-up receive secret prizes.
Scheduled storytellers include noted comics Edwin Li and Chantel Williams, as well as writer April Wolfe and Ten Fingers first place winner, Emily Heller. To guarantee a spot on the lineup, please email stephanie@snapjudgment.org.
