On Thursday November 2, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. please join their discussion of Milan Kundera’s comic postmodern novel The Book of Laughter and Forgetting. In this semi-autobiographical work Kundera counterpoints several complicated love stories with Czechoslovakia’s tumultuous politics in the 1960s, while pondering humankind’s forgetting of history and history of forgetting.
