SF Transit Week 2019 | Sept. 7-13

Come out to Transit Week, a celebration of public transportation put on by the San Francisco Transit Riders. It kicks off Monday, Sept. 9th and features lots of transit-oriented programming and activities through Friday, Sept. 13th.

SF Transit Week 2019 | Sept. 7-13

We’re riding to City Hall from seven locations around the city, which according to our calculations *should* be within 30 minutes of City Hall. We obviously have a long way to go to achieve a reliable 30 minute end-to-end trip on Rapid routes.

• 8:15 AM: See the schedule for all the locations we’re starting from, and let us know if you can join us for the ride-along – the more the merrier, the bigger the impact and visibility with other riders.
• 9:00 AM: Meet on the Polk Street steps of City Hall to push for the awesome public transit we need for a livable, sustainable, accessible, affordable city.

We’ll be calling for more Rapid service connecting the whole city – so riders can get where they’re going on time, and more people can leave their cars behind.
