San Francisco City Hall World Tree of Hope Lighting Ceremony | 2015Come celebrate Christmas in San Francisco City Hall with Mayor Ed Lee and the Annual World Tree of Hope Celebration.

The Rainbow World Fund’s World Tree of Hope is a holiday tree in the Rotunda of San Francisco City Hall decorated with thousands of origami cranes, each inscribed with written notes of hope and peace from children and individuals from around the world.

10th Annual World Tree of Hope Celebration
Wednesday, December 2, 2015 | 5:30 pm
City Hall, San Francisco
FREE

5:30 p.m. – Concert by the Grammy Award winning San Francisco Boys Chorus

6:00 p.m. – A Celebration of Hope with emcee Cheryl Jennings. SF Mayor Ed Lee and Consul General of Japan Jun Yamada will exchange peace cranes. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence will bless the tree. Other guests to be announced.

7:00 p.m. – Veronica Klaus and Tammy Hall will perform at a party to follow until 8 p.m.
