Renowned music critic and author Joel Selvin, whose weekly column ran in the San Francisco Chronicle from 1972 to 2009, shares first-hand reflections on the music, politics, and wild times of a magical chapter in San Francisco history.

Presidio Trust historian Barbara Berglund opens the evening with a presentation on the Presidio during the Summer of Love, as the military post met the epicenter of the counterculture.
