The turf-dancing phenomenon that started in Oakland’s inner city will take center stage at Jack London Square, as part of an all-new dance battle event, dubbed Turfin vs. the World Dance Battle.

Held on the waterfront by the palm trees featuring 20+ diverse vendors, food trucks, and beers for the 21+ and over crowd. Come witness the best of the best get it in on the dancefloor,

Free to attend, this full day of dance from TURFinc will fill the Oakland waterfront with dance battles, live music, local eats and eclectic creations in the Oakland Vendor Village, as well as ticketed ($15) master dance workshops.

Everyone is invited to watch the world’s best dancers go head to head on the dance floor in a series of exhibition battles that showcase pantomime, footwork and storytelling. There will also be a separate series of dance battles open to the public to participate.
