Twilight by the Lake: Live Music & Free Snacks | Oakland
“Twilight By The Lake” is a series of happy hour mixers taking place on every third Thursday from August to October on the plaza in front of the amazing architecture of the Cathedral of Christ the Light right next to Lake Merritt.
Exhale, relax and mingle on the Cathedral Plaza while enjoying live music, a beautiful lake view, and complimentary appetizers. Although the event is held in the cathedral’s plaza, we’re told this is not a religious event, and is open to the public.
The Moreau Catholic High School Chamber Singers, under the direction of G. Scott Barton, will present selected works from their repertory. Mr. Barton is one of 222 music teachers who have been announced as quarterfinalists for the Music Educator Award Grammy.
The Honors Dance Ensemble will present excerpts from Moreau Catholic High School’s Winter Dance Concert, “Moving Pictures: Scores from the Cinema Re-Imagined for the Stage.” The dance program is directed by Angela Demmel.
