Rob Sakovich Graffiti Art Exhibit
Opening at Blackbird: Saturday, December 8, 2012, 6-8pm

Secession Art & Design heads to the Blackbird to help Rob Sakovich  present his first solo show, featuring his largest collection of fine urban art, on Saturday, December 8, 6-8pm.

As an old-school graffiti artist, Sakovich has spent the past 25 years creating graffiti murals around San Francisco. Instead of discarding his used cans once his art was complete, he envisioned the reuse of his artistic tool. Years later, and with more than enough spray cans in his possession, Sakovich embarked on a new visionary journey, using his cans as his canvas. His beautiful 3-D scenes of the City and nature depict such landmarks as the Golden Gate Bridge and golden gingko leaves in the fall.

Rob Sakovich’s art is spray painted on spray cans, and the fine details are done in acrylic.
