Voices from the Grave: Spooky Poetic Monologues | Monte Rio

Curtain Call Theatre presents Spoon River Anthology by Edgar Lee Masters and directed by Michael Tabib.

Americana at its most poignant, bucolic, and humorous. Set in an ancient cemetery in the heart of the vast country, this amazing set of stories told by ghosts of the dwellers, tell the secrets, trials, and tribulations of what are to us the quintessential representations of our own fears and quirks.

Join in for an evening of sheer poetic monologues drawn right from the midst of our ancestors and their progeny who struggled to build this country to give us a heartland of promise, dreams, and aspirations for a bright future.

The first two Friday performances, October 23rd & 30th, are “Pay what you can Fridays.”
