Volunteer at Stern Grove 2013: Free Seating, Parking, Snacks & Drinks | SFWant free reserved seating, reserved parking and free beverages and snacks during a Stern Grove event this summer? All you have to do is volunteer!

Volunteer positions include ushers, information booth staffers, bike valet, donation collectors, greeters, set up/take down experts and much more.

Volunteer Tasks

  • Entrances — Encourage patrons to make donations, provide general information, hand stamping and distributing information (10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.) 
  • Bike Valet — assist guests with checking in/out bicycles before and after the concert (10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.) 
  • Usher — Assist patrons in finding appropriate seating in concert meadow. (10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.) 
  • Booth Staff — Work at Information, Volunteer, Membership or Guest Check-In booths. Assist general public, welcome and assign volunteers and guests, inform patrons about membership program (limited to 4 people/shift- 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.) 
  • Pre-Concert Setup — assist with setting up tables, coolers, distributing supplies and materials (8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.) 
  • Post-Concert Breakdown — assist with breaking down booths and cleaning up VIP area after the concert 
  • Outreach Programs — staff KidStage or Troc Talks before the concerts

August 4 – Shuggie Otis / The Relatives
August 11 – Pink Martini / La Santa Cecilia
August 18 – San Francisco Opera

Shifts Available

All Day (8 a.m. — 6 p.m.)
Morning (8 a.m. — 12 p.m.)
Midday (10 a.m. — 2 p.m.)
Afternoon (12 — 4 p.m.)
Concert and Breakdown (2 — 6 p.m.)
