Volunteer at Stern Grove 2015: Free Seating, Parking, Snacks & Drinks | SF

Stern_grove21[1]Want free reserved seating, reserved parking, and free beverages and snacks during a Stern Grove event this summer? All you have to do is volunteer.

Volunteer positions include ushers, information booth staffers, bike valet, donation collectors, greeters, set up/take down experts and much more.

Volunteering Tip: Register to volunteer at least 1 week in advance as slots often fill up early 

Volunteer Tasks

  • Entrances — Encourage patrons to make donations, provide general information, hand stamp patrons and distribute information (10 am-4 pm) 
  • Bike Valet — Assist guests with checking in/out bicycles before and after the concert (10 am – 6 pm)
  • Usher — Assist patrons in finding appropriate seating in the concert meadow (10 am – 6 pm)
  • Booth Staff — Work at Information, Volunteer, Membership or Guest Check-In booths. Assist the general public, welcome and assign volunteers and guests,and  inform patrons about membership program (limited to 4 people/shift; 8 am – 6 pm) 
  • Pre-Concert Setup — Assist with setting up tables, coolers, distributing supplies and materials (8 am – 10 am) 
  • Post-Concert Breakdown — Assist with breaking down booths and cleaning up the VIP area after the concert
  • Outreach Programs — Staff KidStage or Troc Talks before the concerts

All Day (8 am — 6 pm)
Morning (8 am — Noon)
Midday (10 am — 2 pm)
Afternoon (Noon — 4 pm)
Concert and Breakdown (2 — 6 pm)
