See some real and on-screen stars at a screening of the award-winning animated film “WALL-E,” as a part of a One City One Book space film series on Thursday, November 17.

A Disney and Pixar computer-animated film about a wide-eyed robot who travels to the deepest reaches of outer space in search of a newfound friend, bring your kids to this touching sci-fi movie full of spaceships and electric sparks.

About One City One Book 2011: (9/6 to 11/12) One City One Book is an annual literary event that encourages community members to read the same book and discuss it at events throughout the city.

Similar to a giant, citywide book club, this year’s program is focused on local author Mary Roach’s “Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void,” and will feature book readings, space-themed movie screenings and more, as well as open discussions all over the city through November 12th . Full Schedule of events
