Fashion has continued to be a driving force in leading the adoption of wearable technology. Watch an in-person fashion show and participate in a speaker session guided by the best design leaders in the industry. This event will focus on what actually makes a wearable technology truly fashionable.

Speakers Session Leaders:

Monisha Perkash (CEO at Lumo BodyTech)
Monisha Perkash is CEO & Co-founder at Lumo BodyTech, makers of the Lumo Lift and Lumo Back posture and activity trackers. She and her team are shaking up the wearable tech space with stylish designs to help people look and feel great. Closing the gap where technology meets fashion, they have achieved mass appeal and received broad media coverage, including TIME’s 25 Best Inventions of 2014. Lumo is backed by Madrona Ventures, Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors, and Jerry Yang’s AME Cloud Ventures. Monisha previously served as CEO and Co-Founder of TuitionCoach (acquired by SimpleTuition in 2009), where she oversaw the financing, launch, and general management of the start-up. After the acquisition, she stayed on with SimpleTuition as VP Products. Monisha has an MBA from Stanford and a BA from Yale.

Tim Golnik (VP of Product and Design at Misfit Wearables)
Tim Golnik is the VP of Product and Design at Misfit Wearables, makers of the Misfit Shine and Misfit Flash. Tim is responsible for Misfit’s hardware and software product vision. Misfit is focused on developing great wearable products: things that people would want to wear all the time for a long time. A pioneer in the emerging world of wearable sensor technology, the company is making products and services in the consumer health and fitness space to inspire people be more active and develop healthy habits.
