Event Details

Most people think of the San Francisco SPCA when they are looking to adopt, train or get health care for their pets. But they’re here to celebrate and provide support for all stages of a pet’s and human life including illness, death and bereavement.

Join them as they discuss animal related end of life issues like how to prepare for and cope with the death of a beloved pet; how animals improve the quality of life for the sick and dying and how they can help survivors grieve and heal; how to memorialize your pets; how to provide for your pets and ensure they are well cared for should they outlive you; how to deal with the pet loss and grief during the holiday season; and how you can access support and services that can help you deal with difficult decision and emotions one faces upon the loss of a pet.
