The San Carlos Week of the Family is an annual event organized by community volunteers whose goal is to strengthen family relationships by providing a series of activities focusing on family and community interaction. Celebrating twenty year, the Week of the Family committee and its volunteers are proud to contribute to the quality of life and the family-orientated community of The City of Good Living.

Please join the hundreds of families that have enjoyed Week of the Family by participating in one or more of the mostly free activities offered. You’re sure to find something entertaining and fun for your entire family.

Week Of The Family 2020 | San Carlos

Come celebrate San Carlos’ Week of the Family here at the library. They have invited the Little Explorer’s Petting Zoo to come teach you all about the farm animals that live on their farm.

There will be 25 of the friendliest farm animals you have ever seen for you to see up close and personal. Come touch and learn about their alpaca, pot belly pig, large tortoise, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, and bunnies.

Visitors will have an opportunity to feed the animals a small snack, as well as learn how to hold the smaller animals. In order to make sure everyone has a one-on-one experience with the animals, visitors will be taking turns coming inside of the small petting zoo.
