Winter Solstice Eve Lantern Walk for Peace | Berkeley

Come and join the “Winter Solstice Eve Lantern Walk for Peace.” They will meet at 4:30 at the trail head adjacent to the parking lot, and set out promptly at 4:40.

For the outbound walk, you will enjoy the sunset. You’ll get to a stopping point, and sing “Winter Solstice is Here” a lovely song written by Beth Waters Rago, musician, home ed mom and friend. You’ll also sing “Peace like a River.” There will be warm drinks and then you’ll light your lanterns for the walk back.

Bring:

• A lantern
• warm clothes
• a warm drink
• matches/lighter
• umbrella if necessary
• flashlight for grown ups
