Women Bike Book Club | Oakland
In partnership with Bike East Bay, the Oakland Public Library is co-hosting the Women Bike Book Club in 2017. Bike East Bay’s Women Bike program enters its second year of bringing women and gender nonconforming folks together in social settings to share experiences and resources with each other.
Everyone is invited to discuss biking, feminism, and the intersection of the two. Join them on the second Thursday of each month at 6 pm. They’ll focus on a different book or film each month, with a few guest speakers and activities along the way.
Please note, the Women Bike Book Club will be either be held at the Rockridge Branch Library or the Oakland Public Library’s Main Branch.
