Newly found college friends making surf-tinged indie-pop with a dynamic live set, melodic instrumentals, and young sound.
After releasing their first 2 singles, “Beach Bummer” and “Love Fool,” No Vacation received recognition in areas of the UK, Croatia, Australia and South America, they started expanding in the Bay Area, playing their first show just last month at the beginning of April. No Vacation’s live set consist of funky dream-pop, and indie-rock grooves.
Since then, No Vacation has started receiving more attention around the Bay Area and dropped their first mixtape, titled “Amo XO,” under the self described genre of “post tropical sadcore.” Their mixtape can be described as upbeat indie pop tunes that mask the theme of sad, melodic lyrics.
They currently are in the works of recording an EP, which is scheduled to be released by the end of summer.
