Event Details

When it comes to describing the incredible discoveries and awe-inspiring beauty of our exploration of space, Jody Foster’s character in the film “Contact” summed it up quite well: “No words….” Whether the subject is Mars’ bygone lakes and seas, hidden oceans on icy moons, deep and mysterious atmospheres of gas giant worlds or the myriad planets astronomers have found orbiting other stars, sometimes stunned silence is the appropriate response. Join Chabot Space & Science staff member, Ben Burress, as he covers some recent space discoveries you should know about.
