“The Worst Sex I Ever Had” Comedy Lineup

  • Anthony De Guzman Jr.
  • Griffin Daley
  • Molly Sanchez
  • Taylor Made
  • Alyssa Westerlund
  • Carrie Avritt

Taylor Made is an improv comedian from Humboldt County and grew up in Amsterdam, and now lives in Oakland. Are you sensing a trend? Though he has lived in places notoriously known for some of the best growers or “farmers” in the world, don’t worry he is also a bit of a drinker as well.

Molly Sanchez is a a stand up comedienne and improviser whose early lack of breasts lead her to use comedy as a way to cultivate a personality. Her humor tackles issues of crying, squirting, babies and men who love you enough to eat pizza out of your belly. She has performed all over including Cobbs, The SF Punchline, The Comedy Store, The Shedot festival in Toronto , and the Broadway comedy club in New york. Once she opened for Margaret Cho and once Scott Capurro hit on her boyfriend after they did a show together. She also once caught a shrimp in her mouth at Bennihanna’s in 1998.

British born comic Griffin Daley first trod the boards to howls of laughter at age 10. The very next day he drowned in the sea and was saved by an angel. Ever since, Griff has viewed life as a backwards joke and lives accordingly. He is comfortable on any stage or set from KOFY TV to the Beatles Festival, The Improv, Throckmorton, etc.

JR De Guzman seamlessly blends music and comedy to entertain crowds all over the US and abroad, having performed also in France, the Netherlands, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia. With sharp one-liners and funny songs such as “Prom Story,” JR serenades audiences into fits of laughter. This versatility has allowed him to entertain comedy and music fans alike, having done shows with musicians Passion and ’80s band Pablo Cruise (your parents know who they are), as well as comedians Margaret Cho, Paul Mooney, Butch Bradley, Ruben Paul, Rex Navarette, and Edwin San Juan.

Alyssa Westerlund has lived in many different places and she’s had many very lived-in men. Her first fiancé is in jail for murder and her last fiancé is currently a homeless drug-addled drummer. She allegedly likes danger and has made it her mission in life to emasculate men as an homage to her unrealistically capable father whose only hope was that she wouldn’t need a jerk like him.

Carrie Avritt, a San Francisco comedian, is funny. Carrie has performed open mic nights, showcases including Hella Gay Comedy, LOL Mondays, The Bitch Slap and The Body Positive Comedy Show, performed with bands, been a guest on radio shows in both SF and SJ, the gay rodeo, private events, Pride events, and recently co-produced/hosted the Girl Power Comedy Show during the Hella Gay Comedy Festival. Carrie has also been a special guest comedian for Marga Gomez, Chris Franjola, DL Hughley, as well as Loni Love. Carrie brings with her a unique brand of edgy observational humor.
