Yerba Buena Family Day is downtown San Francisco’s biggest daylong family block party with free admission, special art activities for kids and free performances for children and families at four museums within 1-2 blocks of each other in the Yerba Buena arts district.

- Face it … artists love to make art about people. Get up close and PERSONal with hands-on family fun throughout the Museum

Contemporary Jewish Museum
- Meet theatrical characters from San Francisco’s storied past in the exhibition California Dreaming: Jewish Life in the Bay Area from the Gold Rush to the Present
- Celebrate the wonder of story by making imaginative story puppets and story journals
- Listen to captivating tales by master storyteller Michael Katz on the main stage at 11:30AM, 1PM and 2:30PM
MOaD (Museum of the African Diaspora)
- Tour the exhibition Choose Paint! Choose Abstraction! Celebrating Bay Area Abstract Artists
- Create your own abstract chalk masterpiece and add it to the Museum’s walls
- Thrill to a special live performance by Los Pleneros de la 21, one of the nation’s premiere Afro-Puerto Rican groups direct from New York
Children’s Creativity Museum
