Due to coronavirus concerns (and rain, probably) this event is canceled
On March 7, 2020, a colorful display of more than 100,000 tulips will cover Union Square in San Francisco. Best of all, you’re invited to visit the site and pick your own bunch of tulips to take home.
American Tulip Day
Saturday, March 7, 2020 | 1 pm to 4:30 pm
Union Square, San Francisco
The ”Tulip Garden” at Union Square will open to the public at 1:00 p.m. and it will be closed at 4:30 p.m. By that time, all 100,000 tulips will have been picked and will soon be giving many American households a wonderful feeling of early spring.
Plus, March 8 is International Women’s Day. What better way to celebrate this special day than with a bunch of fresh colorful tulips?
Access to the garden is free and so are the tulips.
