2018 Chinese New Year Flower Fair
– Saturday, February 10, 2018 | 10 am to 8 pm
– Sunday, February 11, 2018 | 9 am to 6 pm
Chinatown, San Francisco
– Grant Avenue from Clay to Broadway & Jackson
– Pacific Avenue from Kearny to Stockton

The Chinese New Year Flower Fair blossoms with an abundance of auspicious foods are just a few of the many new year items for sale at the Flower Market Fair. Oranges and tangerines are symbols of abundant happiness. Tangerines with leaves intact assure that one’s relationship with another remains secure. For newlyweds, this represents the branching of the couple into a family with many children. Every traditional Chinese household should have live blooming plants to symbolize rebirth and new growth. Traditional Chinese entertainment such as Chinese Opera and lion dancing will be performed on stage both days.

Kids can enjoy the Flower Fair as well. Throughout the two day fair, traditional Chinese dance and music will be performed on the main stage, along with an exciting array of entertainment from other Asian cultures.
