Haunted Houses in the Bay Area
Professional haunted houses can be pretty expensive for just a few minutes of fun. But community haunted houses offer a cheaper alternative with, arguably, a little less polish.
Some of the community haunted houses have a largely younger audience in the early evening hours, but also offer later operating hours for teens and adults.

Fear Oaks Haunting Experience (SF)
The Young People’s Teen Musical Theatre Company creates 800 square feet of scary haunted fun. Featuring Thriller performances at 7:15pm Friday-Saturday, and 6:45pm and 9:15pm on Sunday.

The Teen Youth Council of Hercules puts on a one-of-a-kind haunted house for the community.

The California Independent Film Festival Haunted House takes place at the New Rheem Theatre in Moraga. This is the perfect place for a haunt that will have a taste of all the scary movies you love. Don’t miss the claustrophobia chamber and the other nightmare rooms.
