Event Details

Join them on Saturday, April 16, at 2 pm in the Main Gallery to celebrate the release of the revised edition of San Francisco’s Chinatown, a pictorial history book written by Judy Yung and the Chinese Historical Society of America in 2006.

A native of San Francisco Chinatown, historian Judy Yung tells an insider’s story of how a place that visitors see as foreign and exotic is, in fact, a vibrant Chinese American neighborhood with a complex history and cultural legacy.

Join them for a slide presentation by the author on the history of San Francisco Chinatown, followed by a book sale and signing. Refreshments will be served.

Free but RSVP required.
