Celebrate International Women’s Day. How have times changed for women in film? An expert panel will discuss the representation of women on the silver screen.

Guests include Maxine Einhorn (moderator), Ruthe Stein (San Francisco Chronicle film critic), law professor Susan Rutberg, and film director/producer Wendy Slick.

Books that will be discussed include Off the Cliff: How the Making of Thelma & Louise Drove Hollywood to the Edge by Becky Aikman, Rebecca Traister’s  Good and Mad, and Rage Becomes Her by Soraya Chemaly.
