Event Details

Calling all Deadheads! Hear from two of the Summer of Love’s musical insiders, Joel Selvin and Dennis McNally, in conversation with “The Summer of Love Experience” curators Jill D’Alessandro and Colleen Terry.

Contributors to the exhibition’s accompanying catalogue, Selvin and McNally will take part in a book signing following this exciting panel discussion.

As the San Francisco Chronicle’s most well-known rock writer (1972-2009) and PR director and official biographer to the Grateful Dead respectively, Selvin and McNally will share tales from one of the most exciting and experimental periods of San Francisco’s musical history.
