SF’s Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2025
The 2025 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival hosts a full lineup of free outdoor music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, and children’s programs. The Festival opens on Saturday, May 10, 2025 with La Santa Cecilia to kick off its 25th Anniversary Season.
Explore the beautiful trees of Yerba Buena Gardens! This self-led tree tour was created by Mike Sullivan @sftreeguy, arboreal aficionado and author of The Trees of San Francisco, and Jason Dewees, horticulturalist at Flora Grubb Gardens and author of Designing with Palms, and Richard Turner, retired editor of Pacific Horticulture. Since April 2020, Mike, Jason and Richard have created nearly 40 neighborhood Tree Tours in San Francisco as a way to discover and explore our beautiful urban outdoors.
Look for the “Start” markings and follow the chalk arrows for an afternoon of fun. The chalk will naturally fade away, so visit while you can! See more info about Mike and the tree tours at sftrees.com.
