We’re sad to announce that the very last Wood Shoppe music showcase will take place on October 4, 2016.

Wood Shoppe is a free monthly music series at Brick & Mortar Music Hall taking place every first Tuesday of the month.

Get exposed to local and national emerging artists without the pressure of a cover charge.

$3 Trumer Pils and $5 Sailor Jerry cocktails all night.

Magic Giant
“This L.A. indie-folk band has a festival anthem on its hands,” and since then MAGIC GIANT has moved bodies and souls in over thirty cities across North America this year. They have sold out legendary venues ranging from the Troubadour in Los Angeles to Mercury Lounge in New York City to The Silver Dollar Room in Toronto, headlining festivals like RiSE for 14,000 people in the Mojave Desert and events like Rock the Vote in Austin, Texas. The group has built a reputation for its infectious sing-alongs and communal live experiences, blending folk instruments (banjo, fiddle, harmonica) with big drums and dance rhythms.

Sophie Jane Loomis
Born into a rock n roll family, Sophie Jane has been surrounded by instruments from day one. On her childhood walls rested photographs & records of John Lennon, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Crosby Stills & Nash, Aretha Franklin, The Staples Singers, Zeppelin, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder…. These legends influence is apparent in her singing and songwriting. Playing with a band for the first time, Sophie Jane’s acoustic songs will be brought to life by drums, bass, guitar, keys; her close friends playing beside her. Moving from London to California 6 years ago one could call her A Cali Brit. Sophie Jane’s voice is something to listen to.
