Award-winning artist Yumi Sakugawa’s book There is No Right Way to Meditate is an illustrated guide on how to lead a more peaceful and balanced life. it’s also a tour through the ups and downs of life, and offers awesome and relatable advice on how we can all love ourselves a little more as we weather our collective emotional storms. Brilliant, beautiful, badass, and with captivating ink illustrations and encouraging ideas, this new work is as enchanting as Yumi’s previous titles, I Think I’m in Friend-Love with You and Your Illustrated Guide to Becoming One with the Universe.
Yumi Sakugawa is a comic book artist, illustrator, and the author of I Think I Am in Friend-Love with You and Your Illustrated Guide to Becoming One with the Universe. She is a regular comic contributor to WonderHowTo and The Rumpus. Her short comic stories have been selected as Notable Comics of 2012 and 2013 by the Best American Comics Anthology editors (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt), and her comic works have also been published in Bitch, The Best American Nonrequired Reading 2014, Folio, Fjords Review, Slake, and other publications.
