11th Annual Altered Barbie Art Show: Closing Reception | Mission
At the 11th Annual San Francisco Altered Barbie Art Show, Barbie is “The Doll That Has It All” — Equality. Fulfillment. Abundance. Power. Love. Maybe?
The annual Altered Barbie Exhibition is a creative reuse art show where people transform these icons into not-so-everyday art reflecting our current society. Ken and Barbie, modern day icons, permeate every corner of our culture. Making art from Barbie and Ken creates dialog and community where there is none.
