We are back in Hayward for the third consecutive year, celebrating Hawaiian May Day 2024! This FREE family-friendly event is hosted by the Kumu Hula Association of Northern California, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, dedicated to perpetuating Native Hawaiian and Polynesian culture through arts, language, music, and dancing. We are hosting the FREE May Day Festival on May 11, 2023, on the streets of Downtown Hayward. Our event will include live music from local and island artists (The Vitals 808 (from Hawai’i), Reno Anoa’i and Band, The Servants, Native Elements, and Hawaiian Royalty), performances from local halau (dance groups), arts and crafts vendors, ethnic foods, and activities for children, as well as information from other non-profit organizations. We hope you can join us for this fun event!
