Cypress Lawn Heritage Foundation | 1370 El Camino Real, Colma, CA
On Saturday, October 27, 2012 take a guided tour of “Grand Tombs of Fantastic San Franciscans” in honor of Halloween. Tour starts at the Noble Chapel with docent Michael Svanevik.
The tours change every year, but expect to see private mausoleums from the likes of the Hearst and Flood families, massive marble angels, strange sarcophaguses (above ground tombs), and more.
Most tours start at the Noble Chapel located on the East Gardens of Cypress Lawn left past Cypress Lawn’s 120 year old Archway.
