Keep your coffee hot at a SpaceCraft Upcycled Cup Cozy workshop on Monday, November 7 at the SF Library’s Sunset Branch.
Learn how to transform your shrunken sweaters into a customizable cup cozies that you can stick space-themed felt rocket ships or constellations on at this cutesy, intergalactic craft workshop for all-levels.
Materials, tips and tricks are provided, though space is limited to 15 participants, so call (415)355-2808 in advance to reserve your spot.
About One City One Book 2011: (9/6 to 11/12) One City One Book is an annual literary event that encourages community members to read the same book and discuss it at events throughout the city.
Similar to a giant, citywide book club, this year’s program is focused on local author Mary Roach’s “Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void,” and will feature book readings, space-themed movie screenings and more, as well as open discussions all over the city through November 12th .
