Carol Doda will be bringing her very own “Twin Peaks” back to North Beach for an early evening New Years Eve Show.
Doda is a pioneer of the striptease – at the age of 19 in 1964 she was credited with being the first official topless dancer in the world.
Tonight you can see Carol live in person (this time fully clothed, fortunately) singing swing and show tunes at Amante, just a few feet down the street from the condor club where her nightclub act began over 40 years ago.
