2026 Update: Unfortunately, the longtime Berkeley Marina Fourth of July Festival & Fireworks is not returning in 2026. The popular waterfront celebration was last held in 2019 before being canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic, and it has not resumed in the years since.
While the Berkeley Marina is still a scenic place to spend the holiday, there is no official Fourth of July festival or fireworks show planned there this year. We’ll update this post if organizers announce the event’s return in a future year.
The Berkeley Marina plays host to one of the best July 4th celebrations around featuring adventure playground open until 8 pm, where children can use hammers, nails, saws, and paint with parental supervision.
Get your face painted, try the giant slide, or splash in the water at the beach. All culminating in the grand fireworks at 9:30 pm over the water from the end of the Berkeley Pier.
