Sonoma | 4th of July Fireworks Show: Booms & Echos in the Valley | 2016
After the Sonoma Plaza celebration
on July 4, 2016, at dusk folks head on over to the large field in back of the former Estate Restaurant or in front of General’s Vallejo’s Home, whichever way you want to see it (both are a block west of the Sonoma Plaza on Spain Street)
to take in the spectacular fireworks display.
The Sonoma Fourth of July fireworks display has a large safe area in the middle of the field and people gather round on the east and west sides.
The fireworks show is put on by the Sonoma Volunteer Firefighters’ Association and is free but donations are greatly appreciated to keep this event going each year.
Why are Sonoma fireworks special?
The Sonoma 4th of July fireworks boom through the valley and create a great echo effect. In the the show has run about 30 minutes long with a big peak at the end. The show is highly recommended and true Americana; bring a picnic, cooler, flashlights and sweaters.
*Donations to the Sonoma Volunteer Firefighters' Association greatly appreciated
