Washington Post journalists Bob Woodward (Robert Redford) and Carl Bernstein (Dustin Hoffman) discover a connection between the 1972 Watergate burglary of the National Democratic headquarters and staffers at the Republican White House. With the support of executive editor Ben Bradlee (Jason Robards) and inside information from their ultra-secret source, “Deep Throat” (Hal Holbrook), Woodward and Bernstein doggedly connect the dots and follow the money all the way to the top. Faithfully adapted by William Goldman from the Pulitzer Prize-winning book authored by these same reporters, this is a thrilling – and true – account of the scandal that rocked a nation and brought down a President.
