Event Details

Naked Eyes, a British synth-pop band that first became popular in the 1980s play a free Friday night concert on the beach near the Santa Cruz Beach Boadwalk. Their back-to-back hits resulted in massive US radio airplay and an almost constant presence on MTV.

Pete Byrne will lead the band to play their hits “(There’s) Always Something There to Remind Me”, “Promises, Promises”, “When the Lights Go Out” and “(What) In the Name of Love”.

Free Friday Night Bands on the Beach
Every summer Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk casts its net and drags in a host of Top 40 bands from the ’70s ’80s and early ’90s to play free concerts right on the beach every Friday night.
