The Stanford Lūʻau is a celebration of Hawaiian and Polynesian culture put on by Hawaiʻi Club and featuring traditional and local-style Hawaiian food, live music performances, and traditional Polynesian dances such as hula and Tahitian.

The event itself is free, but they will also be selling plate lunches with Hawaiian food (more on the traditional side, lūʻau style) on the day of for $5 each.

There will be a show again, filled with Polynesian dance. The theme this year is Huakaʻi a Pele, or the Journey of Pele – the fiery Hawaiian goddess of lava and of creation.
