It’s all beats and bowstrings at classical hip-hop artist CelloJoe’s concert on September 12 in Berkeley’s Cafe Trieste.

A travelling musicians who rides a bicycle with his cello around the world, combines cello with beatboxing to create his own genre of classical hip hop or “funky folk mobile” music.

An unique amalgamation of looping and layering beatboxing beats, funky cello and lyrics, come enjoy this genre-bending cellist’s can’t-miss show over your very own cup of joe.
