Event Details

Blush Wine Bar brings back another Comedy Night on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.

They’re showcasing fabulously funny comedians in an intimate cozy environment with Joe Tobin (IFC) and Matt Lieb (SF Sketchfest).

Comedy Lineup:

Matt Lieb
Move over Shuckey Duckey, there is a new catchphase-based urban racial humorist in town. With catchphrases like “say what?”, “women be trippin’” and “they don’t think it be like it is, but it do”, Matt Lieb has taken the San Francisco Bay Area comedy scene by storm. He has performed with the likes of Brent Weinbach, Moshe Kasher, and W. Kamau Bell. This year will mark Matt Lieb’s 5th year performing at SF Sketchfest. @lieb123456789

Eloisa Bravo
Packed with energy and cuteness she will make you laugh, assuming you are lucky enough to understand her accent.
Eloisa has performed at the world-famous San Francisco Punchline, the Purple Onion, Rooster T. Feathers, as well as the Palm Beach, Miami, and Hollywood Improvs. She has won several comedy competitions in the San Francisco Bay area and has been asked to perform at many festivals and showcases. She also demonstrates her talent and energy by producing comedy and variety shows, including
Trainwreck Cabaret and The BitchSlap!

Josh Argyle
Josh Argyle is a writer & stand-up comedian living & performing regularly throughout the San Francisco bay area. Before making the jump to stand-up in 2010, Josh was an improv comic for five years, playing characters ranging from an angry, sweaty, overbearing father to an angry, sweaty, overbearing Scottish man (and everything in between).  Josh is the San Francisco Bureau Chief of the west coast humor magazine, Savage Henry Independent Times, regularly contributing as a writer & as co-producer of the S.H.I.Ts & Giggles Comedy Festival (Arcata California).

Joe Tobin
Originally from Philadelphia, Joe has become a regular in Bay Area comedy clubs, and he has been fortunate to work with such great comedians as Dave Chappelle, Jake Johannsen, Doug Benson, and Zach Galifiankis, to name a few. (Joe Montana once shook his hand and said, “good job.” This may have been the highlight of his career.)
An East Coast personality trapped in a West Cost lifestyle, Joe’s standup has been featured on the Independent Film Channel, and he also writes (mostly about sports) at joetobin.com.

Loren Kraut
Loren Kraut – A writer/comedian living in San Francisco. She’s been out here 20 years now, so she’s practically a native. Originally I’m from NJ & NYC. You can hear it when she talks.
Her comedy stems from experiences in the world as someone with OCD, depression, anorexia, a very dark sense of humor, and probably also being gay. She’s older than most comedians starting out. She says starting out – She’s been doing stand-up six years. http://www.lorenkraut.com/

Stefani Silverman
Stefani Silverman is a San Francisco based comic and the producer of Blush! Comedy. Dedicated to finding meaning in life through humor, she is former attorney, she uses her hard earned critical thinking skills to talk about such complex topics as body image, sex and things she finds on the sidewalk. Mostly observational, increasingly self-revelatory, Stefani’s comedy will get you laughing and keep you thinking. She is often hard-edged but tempered with sweetness – her comedy lends itself to everything from the dark drunk environment of the club and bar scene – to day time corporate and community events. Comedy Night. You can see her acerbic, yet kindly comedy at venues all over the Bay Area, and has performed on San Francisco’s unique comedy celebration, Comedy Day.
