Brave New Jokes: Comedy Showcase | SF
Brave New Jokes is a premier comedy showcase hosted by Michael Alvarenga (SJ Improv), Vincent Chuang (SF Punch Line), and Brooke Heinichen (SF Sketchfest) at Barebottle Brewing Company.
Every third Friday of the month, they feature a diverse range of comedians from Bay Area headliners to comedians from Comedy Central, E! and other major networks.
Please note that this event runs every 3rd Friday of the month and no longer 4th Saturday as previously stated in the post. The time of the event is from 8 pm to 9:30 pm and not 7 pm to 9 pm as previously stated.

Here is the headliner Irene Tu: A San Francisco-based stand-up comedian, writer, and actor. In 2016, she was named one of the “Bay Area’s 11 Best Stand Up Comedians” by the SFist and one of 20 “Women to Watch” by KQED. She has been featured in SF Sketchfest, Limestone Comedy Festival, RIOT LA and on Seeso and Viceland. Irene hosts several popular shows in the Bay Area: Man Haters, Hysteria, The Mission Position, Laugh Function and Millennials Ruin Everything (they do).
Visiting from NYC they have Rebecca Rush: An NYC based comic. She produces shows in Connecticut, New York, and soon Miami under the name Sporadicomedy and last year cofounder the Cinder Block Comedy festival which is in September in Brooklyn. SUBMISSIONS ARE CURRENTLY OPEN. She has a little dog.
Also featuring local comedian and past winner of rooster T feathers comedy competition 2016, Terrel’Big-T’Butler. And as always the BNJ PBR / Bulliet $8 special.
