If you’re on the lookout for some fresh art in the city, the streets of Bayview might be the perfect place to wander around.

With the goal of making Bayview / Hunter’s Point SF’s next big visual arts district, local artists from arts organization Imprint.City are finally ready to officially celebrate nine new murals, with the latest being painted along Egbert Avenue.

These and others that have been in the works over the last two years will be officially made public at the BayviewLive Festival on October 22nd, a neighborhood celebration that aims to showcase local visual and performing arts.

What makes these murals special is that their purpose is to stir your thoughts on current events and issues around the community. Some of the themes revolve around politics, culture, and the environment.

Not to leave anyone out of this mural party, they even commissioned murals inside the new Bayview Starbucks, so you don’t even have a bougie excuse to miss these new additions to the city.
