San Francisco Bike Party Ride: “Steampunk”
Break out your bike and a bustle for San Francisco Bike Party’s Steampunk-themed ride through the city streets on Friday, August 5. Check out the route ahead of time online, and then bring your steam-powered bicycles, Victorian style and sci-fi imagination to this leisurely, all-levels ride toward the beach.

Festival of the Chariots in Golden Gate Park
The ancient Indian celebration known as the “Festival of the Chariots” is an interactive parade where people pull three large chariots through Golden Gate Park, and will be followed by a free vegetarian meal, live theatre, music, ancient Indian dances, exhibits, books and more in Sharon Meadows.
