Free Concerts at Optical Underground | SF

A free show in a glasses shop? It’s true. Optical Underground is an eyewear store with a double personality — it morphs into a downstairs venue with great acoustics featuring local bands.

Their monthly after hours underground sessions offer free shows with free drinks and snacks. These SF natives use every opportunity to jam in their underground space.

Often they will have a donation jar for a local non-profit, so bring some cash to chip in.

Want to party for a good cause? Join Groundwork Opportunities for a party and livestream concert as they raise money to bring clean water wells to Cambodia.

The evening’s show will feature performances by Meaningless Emphasis and Wheels and Tracks.

  • MeaningLess Emphasis is a one woman experimental fem folk project.
  • Wheels and Tracks is a solo maleficent recursion on electronic soundscapes.

Free drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served and attendees will be able to enjoy Optical Underground’s showroom and make memories in their photo booth.

100% of all donations go directly towards building the well.
