Dia De Los Muertos Celebration: Food, Drinks, Crafts & Music | Berkeley

At this time of year, when the veil between the living and dead is thought to be at its most diaphanous, take part in the eighth year of the Dìa de los Muertos celebration. Gather in the heart of Downtown Berkeley on Kittredge Street and Harold Way on Thursday, November 2, 5-10 pm to celebrate and remember those who have passed on.

The event hosts food booths and trucks, a wine and beer garden at Maison Bleue, free skeletal face painting, and art and craft vendors. There are DIY art projects for kids and adults including ceramic or sugar skull painting. Mariachi music by Con Permiso and the hauntingly beautiful violin of Kippy Marks will make the evening magical.
