Why end food waste? We humans waste over 40% of our food while 80% of freshwater use and 33% of man made emissions are due to our food system. And at the same time we waste, 1 in 6 in the U.S. (1 in 5 in Alameda County) are food insecure or do not know where their next meal is coming from at some point during the year. Feeding the 5000 provides tasty solutions to this massive global food waste and hunger problem.
