Chinese New Year 1,000 Foot Long Firecracker Street Celebration | Chinatown

Celebrate Chinese New Year with an old-school street firecracker celebration at the self-proclaimed oldest bar in Chinatown on Saturday, February 15, 2014.

Red’s Place (on Jackson Street in between Kearny and Grant) will set off a 1,000+ foot strand of firecrackers right in the street around 5-6 pm. Come early to drink and be merry, so you don’t miss out on the show.

Please note: Although the event is not listed on Red’s Place Facebook page, we  called the bar and they confirmed it is taking place for February 15, 2014.
